Felix Economakis

Biography

Felix grew up in North West London. His enduring interest in psychology started when he was struck by the differences between his native Greek culture and that of the English culture of his adopted homeland. He graduated with a degree in Politics and International Relations in 1991, and then after spending one year in Italy teaching English, he then worked as a Contracts Negotiator in the City and then as an area manager for an American chain of retail outlets.

At the age of 27 he decided to pursue his long-held interest in psychology full-time. He graduated as a Chartered Counselling Psychologist in 2002 whilst concurrently training in clinical hypnosis and Neurolinguistic Programming. His particular interest is in researching and integrating the many different therapeutic approaches he has trained in to produce rapid and powerful interventions, and as such he has successfully treated hundreds of clients who have not benefited from previous conventional therapies.

Felix worked in the NHS for over 6 years, but is now in his own full-time private practice and director of The Heath Mind Body Therapies in Hampstead London.

Felix is married with two children and still lives in North West London.
