Most of the behaviour we do is subconscious. That's why we still end up doing things we know are not good for us. We remain still scared of things we logically know can't actually harm us, we eat too much of foods that we know are bad for us, we waste our gym membership by not even turning up to the gym, we buy stuff that we know will never use. In order to change these behaviours we need to go direct to the root source.
Hypnosis is simply the best way to access the subconscious mind, and to lead it to more productive behaviours. Hypnosis can be used to: release unwanted will feelings and fears; alleviate pain, undo psychosomatic complaints, and provide powerful mental rehearsal of success.
Many people who advertise themselves as 'hypnotherapists' are seldom proficient in actually hypnotising their clients. They usually stick to safe and risk-free techniques such as using a progressive relaxation script which all too often merely succeeds in just relaxing clients without actually hypnotising them (we call these 'relaxo-therapists').Such hypnotherapists are seldom confident enough in their abilities to elicit hypnotic phenomena such as hand levitation, hand sticking (hand stuck to lap as if stuck with glue); localised anaesthesia or amnesia for basic numbers.
